Compact device that can limit displacement in two directions with one unit

Power stoppers are one of the displacement limiting structures in bridge collapse prevention systems.
This is a device that limits the occurrence of large relative displacement between the superstructure and substructure when the bearing (type A) is damaged.
It has the ability to accommodate displacement in two directions (bridge axis and perpendicular to the bridge axis) in one device, and is much more convenient and economical than conventional separate displacement limiting structures.

Excellent workability and maintenance management
  • Since the pot part has a two-part structure, each part can be installed separately. Because the parts that are installed each time are lighter, construction efficiency can be improved.
  • Only one side of the pot can be removed, making inspection and repair easier and improving maintenance.
  • Rust-proofing with hot-dip galvanizing is standard, but painting or metal spraying is also available upon request.

Girder lifting prevention function
It has a built-in uplift stop that limits displacement in the vertical direction, and can be used as a functionally distributed bearing [H24 Road Bridge Specification].

High degree of freedom in product Design
  • It has a welded steel structure, and in addition to the lineup of products, it is possible to set the clearance and adjust the height.
  • It is possible to change the bolt arrangement and pot part dimensions according to the superstructure flange dimensions.
  • It is also possible to manufacture an integrated pot part type.

  2. M in the table represents the amount of free space. The standard sizes for M are 30, 50, 80, 110, 140, 170, and 200 mm, but we can also manufacture them according to your specifications. Note that products installed on fixed bearings are fixed (F), but M=10.
  3. The pot part dimension Lp of DS1200 to DS2400 is affected by the bolt arrangement, so Lp is a guideline. Please contact us for details.
